Best Place to Find a Boxer Puppy

Where is the best place to find Boxer Puppies?

After many requests, we have recently launched our new forum and hopefully some ethical breeders will come along to answer your questions shortly.

When buying a boxer Puppy, do you level best to stay away from "Puppy Farms". These unscruplolus businesses often are only out for themselves and have no interest in the welfare or quality of life, of their animals. They continually breed the same Boxer Bitch, even though the maximum should be 2 litters of pups. Anymore than that has a deteremental affect on the Bitch and her pups. We have listed a few questions you need to ask to help avoid puppy farms. If everyone starts to take notice of this horrible practice, the quality of life of these animal will be hugely improved.

Some simple questions to ask the Boxer Puppy Breeder, plus some tips before you pay.

  • Visit the puppy more than once, if you can also visit unanounced if able. Visiting unannounced will give you a better look at how the puppy is being cared for on a regular basis.
  • A good indication of puppy farms is that they are able to offer more than one or two breeds of dog. Usually these people try to breed expensive animals as well. They will try to stay to puppies such as pugs, often animals that will cost in the region of £700 upwards.
  • Does the breeder want to know about your circumstances? or do they just want your money. If the breeder isn't bothered about the type of home the dog is going too, then alarms bells should start to ring.
  • A major request you should make is to see the puppy with the mother. You will have a chance to look into the future and see exactly how the mother has developed. If for some reason the owner declines your request, then you should ask yourself why?
We are going to bring you a more dedicated list in the near future, but some of the best places to find your new Boxer Puppy is epupz.co.uk or the Boxer Dog Breeders club. We do have a list of breeders of these dogs, however we are reluctant to list them until we have some more information about the quality of the sites.
