Boxer Dog Characteristics

Behaviour

The Boxer dogs most apparent characteristic is for love, affection and to have fun. Certainly at it's happiest when in a family unit and especially with children. These dogs will play and play regardless of what mood you are in, in fact if you don't want to play, it will usually go hunting for objects to play with, such as shoes and socks that end up all around the house.

Unfortunately many owners get annoyed at this and really take it out on the dog. When in fact it the truth is that this is what the dog does, it's in its genes. It's a bit like buying a tiger and getting annoyed when it starts to bite you, so if these owners buy these dogs then it's them to blame to some extent when these things happen.

One of the upsides to having a boxer dog from a house cleaning point of view is that their coat is smooth and they don't shed hair.
